With their holistic and interdisciplinary approach, GEOPARKs offer ideal conditions for communicating sustainable development through projects and activities. The aim is to convey the topics of geology, soil science and awareness for resources to children and young people in an exciting way. We are also cooperating with educational stakeholders from the region to develop interesting offers together.
Where do rocks come from? What is the difference between a mineral and a rock? What does sand look like under the microscope? What types of soil are there? What is the awareness for our world's finite resources important? We want to get to the bottom of all these questions and many more. Packed with laboratory utensils, rock samples and educational materials, we are looking forward to visit you with our GEO-Mobil "Saxificus" at your institution or directly in nature. Our offers are aimed at school classes or groups.
